Call for Abstracts: Rising Stars in Biomedical Research Symposium
Outstanding postdoctoral fellows from around the world are invited to submit abstracts for the Rising Stars in Biomedical Research Symposium, to be held at Tel Aviv University on October 25, 2026.
The Gray Faculty of Medical and Health Sciences at Tel Aviv University invites outstanding postdoctoral fellows to apply to participate in the Rising Stars in Biomedical Research Symposium.
The symposium will showcase exceptional early-career researchers, providing a platform to present their work, share their scientific journeys, and connect with leading investigators from across Israel. Applicants who are considering an academic position in Israel are especially encouraged to apply.
Research areas include, but are not limited to:
- Cancer Biology
- Cell & Developmental Biology
- Computational Biology & AI
- Genetics & Genomics
- Immunology
- Neuroscience
- Synthetic Biology
- Systems Biology
- Translational Medicine
Application
Applicants are asked to submit:
- An abstract (maximum 300 words)
- A curriculum vitae (CV), including a publication list
Selected applicants will deliver an oral presentation at the symposium, participate in networking opportunities with leading investigators from across Israel, and selected abstracts will be eligible for a Rising Star Award.
