Prof. Jacob Ablin Appointed Head of the Department of Internal Medicine
Prof. Jacob Ablin has been appointed Head of the Department of Internal Medicine at the Gray Faculty of Medical and Health Sciences, effective September 1, 2026.
Effective September 1, 2026, Prof. Jacob Ablin will assume the role of Head of the Department of Internal Medicine at the Gray Faculty of Medical and Health Sciences, Tel Aviv University.
Prof. Ablin is a specialist in Internal Medicine and Rheumatology and serves as Director of Internal Medicine H at Tel Aviv Sourasky Medical Center (Ichilov). He is a Clinical Full Professor at the Gray Faculty of Medical and Health Sciences.
His clinical and academic work focuses on internal medicine, rheumatology, fibromyalgia, and nociplastic pain. Internationally recognized for his contributions to the field, Prof. Ablin has published extensively in leading scientific journals and collaborates with academic and professional organizations worldwide. Over the course of his career, he has led numerous clinical, research, and educational initiatives while playing an active role in undergraduate and postgraduate medical education.
