Prof. Carmit Levy Selected to Receive the SMR Estella Medrano Award
International Recognition in Melanoma Research
Prof. Carmit Levy of the Gray Faculty of Medical and Health Sciences at Tel Aviv University has been selected to receive the Estella Medrano Award from the Society for Melanoma Research (SMR), recognizing her contributions to melanoma research.
The award is presented annually to outstanding researchers for their significant contributions to advancing melanoma research. Recipients are selected by members of the Society for Melanoma Research from around the world.
Prof. Levy, Head of the Department of Human Genetics and Computational Medicine, investigates the molecular mechanisms underlying the development of melanoma and skin cancer. Her research aims to deepen our understanding of these diseases and identify new approaches to their treatment.
The award ceremony will take place in Boston in March.
